Chicgrid: Space Planner is built on one simple principle: your plans are yours. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you create — every room, dimension, and clearance check — stays on your device and never leaves it.
We collect nothing. Chicgrid has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and we do not gather device identifiers, usage analytics, or behavioral data. The floor plans, furniture dimensions, room presets, and clearance calculations you enter are app content that lives only on your device.
Because we never collect any information, there is nothing for us to use, read, profile, sell, or share. Every feature — the room grid, the object dimension log, the clearance warning matrix, and the layout preset deck — runs entirely on-device. No data is ever sent to us or to anyone else for processing.
All of your planning data is stored locally, inside the app's own space on your device. There is no Chicgrid cloud, no remote backup, and no server-side database. Your information is never uploaded, synced, or copied off your device by us.
Chicgrid contains no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers, and no marketing SDKs. We do not embed external services that could observe your activity. The app works the same whether you are online or fully offline.
Keeping data on-device is the foundation of our security model. With nothing transmitted and nothing stored on external servers, there is no central target to breach. Your plans are protected by the same device-level safeguards — passcode, biometrics, and OS sandboxing — that protect the rest of your device.
Chicgrid does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no personal information is ever gathered, the app is consistent with COPPA's intent. It is safe for users of any age to plan a room without leaving a trace behind.
You stay in complete control of your content at all times. You can edit or delete any plan inside the app, and deleting the app removes all associated data from your device. Since there are no accounts and no backups held by us, removal is permanent and entirely in your hands.
If we ever update this policy, we will revise the Effective Date above and publish the new version. Any future changes will preserve the same core commitment: Chicgrid remains a private, on-device tool that does not collect your data.
